187 national flags collected from 63 provinces, cities, island districts and especially Truong Sa archipelago, have 'converged' at the project honoring the Vietnamese national flag to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification day, carried out by the teaching staff of Dai Viet Saigon College.

This morning, April 28, Dai Viet Saigon College held the opening ceremony of the exhibition " Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space" and the exhibition "Vietnam National Flag - The Country is One", to honor the national flag and the historical value of the nation, and at the same time launched the yearbook "Following the footsteps of heroes".

According to Dr. Le Lam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Principal of Dai Viet Saigon College, this activity haseducational , cultural and historical significance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Dr. Le Lam said: "The Vietnamese National Flag - The Land of Unity is a special exhibition because this is the first time to collect, receive, and gather many national flags and Party flags from all over the country. From the northern mountainous border such as Lao Cai, Yen Bai to the sea and island area of ​​Phu Quoc; from the DK1 Platform guarding sovereignty to the land of Ca Mau; from the revolutionary bases of Cao Bang, Bac Kan, the historical origin of the Phu Tho nation, or the land of steel and bronze citadels of Cu Chi, the homeland of the Ben Tre uprising...".

It is known that the school's teaching staff traveled across the country to receive a total of 187 national flags and Party flags in 63 provinces, cities, island districts, international border gates, airports and especially flags in Truong Sa archipelago and 30 national relic sites, symbolizing "The country and rivers are connected in one strip, the North and the South reunite in one house" showing the unity and territorial integrity of Vietnam.

Along with that, the yearbook "Following the footsteps of heroes" built by the Dai Viet education system has focused on highlighting the historical values ​​of national liberation, the history of heroes and soldiers who sacrificed their youth, happiness, blood and tears for the independence and freedom of the nation...

Present at the event, Dr. Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, highly appreciated the profound significance of the program, and acknowledged the unique idea and dedication of the school in collecting and organizing the exhibition "Vietnam's National Flag - The Country is a Connected Strip".

"From the harsh sun and wind of Truong Sa, the resilience of the DK1 platform to the majestic beauty of the red-soil Central Highlands... From the border markers at the headland of the Fatherland to the peaceful villages of the Mekong Delta, the Red River... All have converged here, through the national flags, connecting all homelands in the endless pride of an independent, free, unified and eternal Vietnam," Mr. Thang emotionally shared.

According to Mr. Thang, this is an extremely meaningful project, educating students about patriotism, national pride and the will to rise up and build Vietnam.

As part of the series of activities, Dai Viet Sai Gon College also welcomed 50 veterans from Quang Tri, presented 2 gratitude houses, repaired houses for former commando soldiers, donated 300 million VND for the search for martyrs' remains, organized trips to the source, visited and interacted with former political prisoners and commando soldiers...

On this occasion, the school also received a Certificate of meeting the standards for vocational education quality assessment, with a score of 93/100, which is considered to be a very high level of meeting national standards on vocational education quality.
