Yen Bai: 16/32 targets exceeded the plan according to Resolution 30

Through assessment, after 5 years of implementation, out of the total 32 targets of the resolution, 16 targets were exceeded; 12 targets were achieved; 4 targets were not achieved. Of which, the growth rate of the service industry reached 7.8%, the proportion of the service industry in GRDP reached 42.1%, the proportion of workers in the service industry reached 26.1%.

The number of tourists reached 2,000,000, an increase of 33.3% of the resolution target. Revenue from tourism reached 1,700 billion VND, an increase of 13.3% of the resolution target.

The growth rate of total retail sales of goods and services through the civilized and modern trade and service network reached 17.0%; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at 31,845 billion VND, equal to 106.2% of the resolution target; The export value of goods is estimated at 520 million USD, equal to 104% of the resolution target.

Sectors and localities have proactively developed plans for training and developing human resources in the service sector, basically meeting development requirements. Up to now, vocationaltraining institutions have provided vocational training for over 12,500 workers in the tourism and service sectors; The rate of trained workers in the service sector has reached 34.5%.

Attracting investment in the service sector has changed with a number of large projects being implemented, especially in the fields of resort and trade, contributing to improving the quality of service and tourism activities in the province.
