Request for detailed construction plan of Yen Ngua Reservoir Project

On the afternoon of October 12, the Dak Lak Provincial Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment and Rural Development Projects (Provincial Board) inspected the implementation of the Yen Ngua Reservoir Project (Cu Ewi Commune, Cu Kuin District).

The project was approved by the Provincial People's Council in Official Dispatch No. 129/HDND-VP dated March 21, 2018, approving the Feasibility Study Report in Decision No. 2888/QD-UBND dated October 30, 2018; adjusting some project contents in Decision No. 1434/QD-UBND dated June 29, 2020.

The project consists of 2 items including Yen Ngua Lake (Cu Ewi Commune, Cu Kuin District) and Buon Biep Lake (Yang Tao Commune, Lak District). The total capacity of the 2 lakes is 3.735 million m3, the total investment is 305.5 billion VND; After adjustment: The total capacity of the 2 lakes is about 3 million m3, the total investment is 432 billion VND.

Leaders of the Provincial Project Management Board for Transport Works and Rural Development Agriculture inspected the headworks of the Yen Ngua Reservoir Project in Cu Ewi Commune, Cu Kuin District.

Regarding construction progress, the construction and equipment installation package for the main reservoir headworks (Yen Ngua Lake), the value of the field volume reached 8 billion VND/41.9 billion VND (equivalent to 19.10% of the contract value), the accumulated value of the payment acceptance reached 5.4 billion VND/41.9 billion VND (equivalent to 12.89% of the contract value), basically completed the flood spillway, the entrance to the water intake, the rough construction of the management house; the construction and equipment installation package for the main canal system and works on the canal, completed the siphon and valve house items, and is coordinating to clear the ground for 1 km of the pipeline canal, the accumulated value of the payment acceptance volume: 6.241 billion VND/16.947 billion VND (equivalent to 37% of the contract).

Buon Biep Lake project, with the cumulative value of accepted volume reaching 6.18 billion VND/136.62 billion VND (equivalent to 4.52% of the contract), is currently temporarily suspended pending adjustment.

During the inspection, Deputy Director in charge of the Provincial Board Phan Xuan Bach requested the Agricultural Project Management Department (under the Provincial Board) to coordinate with the District Land Fund Center to develop a detailed plan for site clearance for each plot, each household, each phase to develop a supplementary plan after adjusting the Project. At the same time, coordinate with construction contractors to immediately develop a detailed construction plan for the project, especially items including the main dam body, spillway, drainage culvert and canal system... When the weather conditions are favorable, it is necessary to concentrate on labor, machinery and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the project.
