Thanks to his strong physique, Long forced his opponent to admit defeat in the 5th round and was declared the winner by technical knockout, helping Trinh The Long to own the WBC Asia middleweight championship for the first time. He is the second Vietnamese boxer to win this title, after Tran Van Thao in 2017. Trinh The Long also raised his professional record to 5 matches and won all by knockout, worthy of the title of "undefeated" Vietnamese boxer.

In the match for the WBA Asia Lightweight title, Vo Hong Dat (5 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws with 4 knockouts) won after 12 rounds against experienced Filipino boxer Ernie Sanchez (21 wins, 18 losses, 2 draws with 12 knockouts).

In addition to the goal of winning, this tournament is also an opportunity for young boxers to practice and improve their abilities, aiming for greater achievements in the future. In addition, the tournament will help the Ho Chi Minh City Boxing Federation evaluate and improve the capacity and qualifications of the team of coaches, referees, managers and competition organizers in the area.
