ANTD.VN - According to EVN, 17 renewable energy projects have transferred commercial power generation to the grid; 29 projects have been granted electricity operation licenses.
More renewable energy projects come to commercial development |
Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) said that currently, 17 transitional renewable energy plants/parts with a total capacity of 832.92 MW have completed COD procedures and are generating commercial electricity to the grid.
The cumulative electricity output of transitional renewable energy projects from COD to July 24, 2023 is about 165.5 million kWh; of which, the average daily electricity output is about 3.2 million kWh, accounting for about 0.4% of the total mobilized power output.
Up to now, 72/85 transitional renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 3,931.86 MW have submitted documents to the Electricity Trading Company to negotiate electricity prices and power purchase contracts; of which 60 projects (total capacity of 3,331.41 MW) proposed a temporary price equal to 50% of the ceiling price of the price frame (according to Decision No. 21/QD-BCT dated January 7, 2023 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade ).
EVN and investors have completed price negotiations and signed PPA contracts with 58/60 projects; the Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved provisional prices for 58 projects with a total capacity of 3,181.41 MW.
21 projects have been accepted by competent state management agencies for the entire plant/part of the plant; 29 projects have been granted electricity operation licenses for the entire plant/part of the plant; 37 projects have had decisions to extend investment policies.
There are still 13 projects with a total capacity of 802.70MW that have not yet submitted negotiation documents.
