Business people believe that domestic pepper prices are currently fluctuating within a narrow range, making farmers and traders hesitant in purchasing and bringing goods to the market. This development reflects the instability in supply and demand and the risk-averse mentality of business people.
According to experts, in the short term, domestic pepper prices will remain stable or may decrease slightly due to unstable export demand and tight supply. However, in the medium and long term, the global supply shortage may support pepper prices to increase again, even creating opportunities for recovery.
