2 times returning property to foreign guests in one day

Today (November 4, 2024), Railway attendants returned property to 2 cases of foreign passengers who left their property on the train. Specifically:

This morning, SP4 train captain Pham Quang Chien returned the property to a foreign passenger at Hanoi station. It is known that the passenger bought a separate sleeping compartment, and after getting off the train, forgot a black backpack. Inside were 01 passport, 01 headphone, 01 iPod and a lot of foreign currency (439 USD, 190 AUD).

In the South, at 12:57 on November 4, 2024, while the train was running at Da Nang station, the attendant in charge of carriage 10A of train SE4, Nguyen Thi Thoan, discovered a passenger's belongings left on the train while changing the bed sheets. Inside were 15.7 million VND, 100 EURO, 30,800 Cambodian Dong, 01 passport and 05 visa cards all under the name Fien Leenaerts.

It is known that the property belongs to a passenger named Fien Leenaerts who had a ticket for train SE4 from Saigon to Da Nang, a customer of the TIIM travel company. Train captain Tran Xuan Tra contacted the representative of the travel company and agreed to hand over the property to Hue station to send the train to Da Nang station as soon as possible to return it to the passenger.

The timely return of passengers’ belongings, including many important documents, was especially meaningful to foreign guests. Passengers were very happy to receive their belongings back and did not forget to thank the kind, honest and dedicated Vietnamese railway attendants.
