2 out of 7 localities have organized free medical examination programs for 15,000 workers.

According to information from the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), from November 28 to December 2, 2,000 union members and workers at 6 enterprises in Bac Ninh province received free health check-ups.

This is a program organized by the Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) in coordination with the Department of Building the Homeland Security Movement ( Ministry of Public Security ).

The opening ceremony took place on November 28 at SJ Tech Vietnam One Member Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province).

The first of 2,000 workers in Bac Ninh province received free medical examinations on November 28.

Bac Ninh is the second locality in the chain of 7 provinces and cities to implement the program after Nghe An , with a total of 15,000 workers examined in the entire chain of planned activities. The program has the slogan: "Each healthy worker - another stronghold to protect the security of the Fatherland".

During this examination, workers were consulted and examined with services including blood cancer screening, Thalassemia screening, thyroid, knee and abdominal ultrasound and general internal examination. The examination package is worth about 1.9 million VND/person, sponsored by businesses and clinics.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the first 400 workers were examined directly. The remaining 1,600 workers continued to be examined from November 29 to December 2.

The program aims to take care of workers' health, improve medical and legal knowledge, and at the same time promote and mobilize workers to actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security".

This is also a program that continues the spirit of "Serving the people", creating motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and stay with the business for a long time.

The program is being implemented in 7 provinces and cities including: Nghe An, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, with a total of 15,000 workers receiving free medical examinations as planned.

Up to this point, there have been two localities, Nghe An and Bac Ninh, organizing.

Ho Chi Minh City is the locality expected to host the event in December, serving about 4,000 workers.
