The training course was attended by 28 trainees who are members of the Provincial Photography Association; a number of photography enthusiasts inside and outside the province; reporters from provincial press agencies, central press agencies residing in the province; propaganda officers of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command.

The class is taught by Photographer Ly Hoang Long, member of the Art Council of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. He was awarded the title of Excellent Artist (E.FIAP) by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP); the title of Excellent Artist (E.VAPA) by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA); and has been a member of the VAPA Art Council since 2009.

With 30 years of experience in photography and more than 350 awards, during the training period, NSNA Ly Hoang Long imparted theoretical and practical knowledge, including photography techniques, composition, lighting, post-processing and especially creative thinking in composing photo series and black and white photos.

During the training period, students participated in practical training sessions and gained experience at the Mobile Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police), at Battalion 303 (Regiment 584, Provincial Military Command).
