7 important milestones candidates need to remember to avoid unfairly failing the university entrance exam

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 2457/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated May 19, 2025 guiding university and college admissions in 2025, clearly stating the admission timelines.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires all candidates (including those applying for direct admission) to register for admission online on the Ministry's system at: thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn or via the National Public Service Portal. All declared information must be accurate and honest, especially regarding priority subjects and regions.

For direct admission candidates, they need to submit their application to the training institution before 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025, receive the results before July 15 and continue to register their wishes on the system. Independent candidates need to register their personal information from July 10-20 to be granted an account to register their wishes.

From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register, adjust, and add their wishes an unlimited number of times. Then, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, they need to pay the online admission fee according to the number of wishes registered.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, all successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online if they wish to study. Additional enrollment periods (if any) will take place from September to December 2025 according to each school's separate announcement.

Candidates need to closely monitor enrollment information from training institutions to submit supporting documents in accordance with regulations.
