Nearly 11,000 candidates complete procedures to take the 10th grade high school entrance exam

On the afternoon of June 3, at the provincial examination councils, nearly 11,000 candidates participating in the 10th grade High School Entrance Exam for the 2025-2026 school year went to the examination room to complete procedures, review exam registration information, and listen to the dissemination of exam regulations, exam schedule, and correction of errors (if any).

Candidates come to do exam procedures on the afternoon of June 3.

For the 10th grade entrance exam, the province will organize 38 examination councils with 500 examination rooms located in districts, towns and cities. According to the enrollment target, high schools, ethnic boarding schools, and Lao Cai Specialized High School will enroll 9,880 students in grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.

To ensure the exam takes place safely and seriously, the schools selected as examination councils have proactively planned and fully prepared facilities, equipment, and supported candidates; functional departments also coordinated to protect exam papers and test papers, maintain security and order during the exams, etc.

At the exam sites, there are union members to support candidates.

Tomorrow (June 4), at exactly 7:30 a.m., candidates will begin taking the non-specialized Literature exam (120 minutes). In the afternoon, candidates will begin taking the non-specialized Mathematics exam (120 minutes).

The exam will be held until the morning of June 6.
