According to the report of the Son Tay Town Labor Federation, there are 3 union members in the town who are supported to build "Union Shelter" including: Hoang Ngoc Van - union member of Ngo Quyen Secondary School; Duong Quynh Hoa - union member of Trung Hung Kindergarten; Nguyen Thi Ngoc - union member of Trung Hung Kindergarten.

According to representatives of the grassroots unions, all three union members who received support to build the Union Shelter houses are in difficult housing situations. The old level four houses of the families were built a long time ago, are degraded, and leaky, and they cannot afford to build or repair new houses.
Understanding the difficult circumstances of 3 union members of the schools, the City Labor Federation and the Son Tay Town Labor Federation decided to support each family with 50 million VND to build a "Union Shelter". The family of union member Hoang Ngoc Van (Ngo Quyen Secondary School) received funding from the town's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee from the town's fund for the Poor to support the construction and repair of a Great Solidarity house with an amount of 20 million VND.

After more than 2 months of construction, all 3 houses have been basically completed and put into use, creating a cool, clean, cozy space, helping union members' families feel secure in their work. The joint activities to build "Union Shelter" have brought about practical results, helping workers, civil servants, and laborers with difficult housing conditions to have the conditions to build, repair houses and stabilize their lives. "Union Shelter" also has great practical significance, contributing to enhancing the role and position of the Union organization in caring for the lives, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of workers.

On this occasion, the City and Town Labor Federations and local authorities and trade unions presented 3 union member families with many meaningful and practical gifts and items in life.
