- On the morning of April 26, Lang Son City Culture and Sports Center coordinated with the City Chess Club to organize the 5th Open Chess Tournament in 2025.

The tournament has 30 players from 6 chess clubs in Lang Son city and the districts of Van Quan, Loc Binh, Cao Loc. At the tournament, players compete in rapid chess in two categories (individual and team). During a tournament session, each player will compete in 7 rounds according to the Swiss system.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded two sets of medals including 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals to excellent players in the two competitions; and awarded 1 consolation prize in the individual rapid chess event.

In addition, 15 players with high achievements in the individual rapid chess event received ranking certificates awarded by the Lang Son City Culture and Sports Center.
