30 aircraft participate in the A80 parade mission

According to Air Division 371, the training flight plan for the A80 parade mission includes 9 flight groups with 30 aircraft including: helicopters, C295, C212i, YAK-130, L-39NG, Su-30MK2.

Recently, at the 371st Air Division Command (Air Defense - Air Force, Ministry of National Defense ), a conference on flight safety coordination took place between the 371st Air Division, the 918th Air Brigade and the Northern Air Traffic Management Company, to coordinate the implementation of flight activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80).

At the conference, Division 371 presented a plan for training flights, joint training, preliminary review, and general rehearsal, including 9 flight groups with 30 aircraft including: helicopters, C-295 transport aircraft, C-212i aircraft, YAK-130 multi-purpose training aircraft, L-39NG aircraft, and Su-30MK2 fighter aircraft. In addition, 3 airports were used for takeoff and landing: Hoa Lac, Gia Lam ( Hanoi ) and Kep (Bac Ninh).

The 371st Division's leadership assessed this as the largest and most complex flight operation ever.

After listening to the plan, the units analyzed each flight plan and assessed the impact of each flight on flight operations to and from Noi Bai airport.

In the spirit of close cooperation and high responsibility, the two sides agreed on the principles of coordination, command and control of military and civil aviation flights, ensuring absolute flight safety, properly implementing the A80 plan and limiting the impact on civil aviation flights in the Noi Bai airport area (especially international flights).

Previously, 23 aircraft of the Air Defense - Air Force flew missions to participate in the parade in celebration of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day.

The Government has assigned the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to preside over preparations for Mission A80. According to the plan, the military will participate with 38 parade units and demonstrations by the air force and naval forces.

The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense has sent invitations to the Ministries of National Defense of 8 countries: Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan to attend the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2; at the same time, invited 5 countries (Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Belarus) to send forces to participate in the parade at the celebration.
