32 products, scientific and technological solutions, innovations, digital transformation were evaluated, appraised and announced.

On May 13, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized the announcement of a list of typical products, solutions, scientific and technological initiatives, innovations and digital transformation that have been evaluated, appraised and selected to be posted on the electronic information portal nq57.mst.gov.vn.

This event marks an important step forward in realizing the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the Second Session of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation, assigning the Government Party Committee to direct the Ministry of Science and Technology to carry out this important task.

To carry out the assigned tasks, the Ministry of Science and Technology has urgently built and put into operation the Electronic Information Portal on products, solutions and initiatives of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation at the address nq57.mst.gov.vn.

Quickly put research results into practice

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Duc Long said that the Electronic Information Portal not only serves the role of announcing products and solutions, but also serves as a platform for the community to participate in registering new initiatives. The entire process of receiving, evaluating and supporting the implementation of initiatives is carried out publicly and transparently, ensuring compliance with the law, respecting the intellectual property rights and copyrights of participating individuals and organizations.

The Ministry of Science and Technology expects that this Electronic Information Portal will be an effective tool to contribute to realizing the "Three-party" cooperation model - State, School and Enterprise - in scientific research, technology development and commercialization of research results according to the strategic direction of the Central Steering Committee.

In which, the State plays the role of policy creation, supporting resources for research, developing laboratories, ordering research tasks and applying some research products; the School will conduct research, develop products and register them on the Portal; Domestic and foreign enterprises will cooperate in research, testing, application and commercialization of products. This is an effective model of linking research-training-production-business, contributing to quickly bringing research results into practical life.

The Deputy Minister also said that in the coming time, the Ministry of Science and Technology will organize regular weekly announcement sessions. This is not only an opportunity to honor initiatives, products and solutions, but also an open forum, helping to connect resources, attract investment, promote product commercialization and spread the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance and innovation to all classes of people.

“The core thing we want to aim for is to build this Electronic Information Portal into a truly trustworthy address, where every Vietnamese citizen can contribute ideas, solutions, and initiatives for the country's development; and this is also a place to show the Party and State's respect for every idea, solution, and initiative, no matter how small,” the Deputy Minister affirmed.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister called on media agencies to accompany the Ministry of Science and Technology in promoting the Electronic Information Portal; at the same time, he called on organizations, businesses, individuals, especially young people and the startup community, to boldly share their ideas, initiatives, and solutions, contributing to creating great changes for the country in the future.

Received 426 product profiles and useful solutions

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc, Director of the National Digital Transformation Agency, the electronic information portal nq57.mst.gov.vn plays a key role as a platform with important functions and development orientations.

For products, solutions of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, the Portal is a place for organizations and individuals to submit their products and solutions to seek opportunities for cooperation, investment or support from the State. This is an open channel, allowing subjects to propose ideas to connect with investors or strategic partners; request support from the State, evaluation, appraisal and publication.

The Ministry of Science and Technology is committed to ensuring that the process of receiving, reviewing, selecting, and supporting the implementation of initiatives is carried out openly, transparently, and in compliance with the law.

To ensure transparency and efficiency, the Ministry of Science and Technology has issued sample profiles and configurations on the Portal, corresponding to each product and solution group. At the same time, an evaluation council with specific processes, regulations and criteria framework has been established to review the profiles.

To date, the Portal has received 426 product and solution dossiers, of which 71 useful products and solutions have been announced. Currently, 90 other products and solutions are being evaluated by the Evaluation Council of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Notably, today, 32 new products and solutions will be announced, marking an important milestone in the development journey of the Portal.

For scientific, technological, innovative and digital transformation initiatives, the Portal is not only a place to receive products and solutions but also a platform to facilitate all organizations and individuals with innovative and creative thinking to register scientific and technological initiatives.

The Ministry of Science and Technology is committed to ensuring that the process of receiving, reviewing, selecting, and supporting the implementation of initiatives is carried out in an open, transparent, and legally compliant manner. In particular, the intellectual property rights and copyrights of organizations and individuals are fully protected throughout the process.

The portal serves three main groups of subjects: Scientists, organizations, and individuals with initiatives that need support for publication, connection, and commercialization; state agencies and businesses that need to apply initiatives to improve operational efficiency; investment funds and innovation support organizations looking for potential initiatives to accompany, sponsor, and invest in.

The Portal is not only a place to connect but also a bridge to turn creative ideas into reality, contributing to building a national innovation ecosystem. More than 10 ideas and initiatives posted by scientists, organizations and individuals on the Portal have been forwarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology to relevant agencies for research and resolution.

To further improve the efficiency of the Portal, the Ministry of Science and Technology will upload all Vietnamese inventions and patents to the Portal, while providing easily accessible legal information and knowledge on intellectual property. The Portal will integrate with national and international intellectual property databases, supporting users to look up, evaluate protection possibilities and avoid infringement of others' rights.

In addition, the Portal will provide detailed guidance on intellectual property registration procedures, connect experts, support intellectual property valuation and promote commercialization.

In addition, the Ministry of Science and Technology also requested universities and research institutes to post potential initiatives and technologies on the Portal, and encouraged technology corporations and businesses to post their products and solutions.

The electronic information portal nq57.mst.gov.vn is not only a technology platform but also an ecosystem connecting ideas, talents and resources to promote the country's sustainable development.

The Ministry of Science and Technology calls for active participation from scientists, businesses, investors and the entire community to jointly turn initiatives into reality, contributing to building an innovative, creative and prosperous Vietnam.
