The program is directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and coordinated by the Culture Newspaper and the Vietnam National Music, Dance and Dance Theater to organize, produce and perform.

The special art program "May Gifts for Him" is a profound gratitude from the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people, an epic song honoring the great President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of national liberation, World cultural celebrity.
From the simple thatched roof of his mother's hometown Lang Sen to the prestigious grandstand of the United Nations, from his idealistic diary entries in his twenties to the sacred Declaration of Independence on September 2, he engraved Vietnam's name on the world map with his profound wisdom, unyielding spirit and immense love.
Time has passed, but the light of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, style and morality is still a pure spring that waters the soul of the nation, a torch that lights the way for every step forward of the country today and tomorrow. His name - Ho Chi Minh - has gone beyond the borders of a nation, becoming a sacred symbol of freedom, humanity and the desire for peace for all mankind.
In a calm and emotional space, “May Gifts for Him” recreated the journey of President Ho Chi Minh’s life and noble revolutionary career through music, dance, performance art and valuable documentary footage.

The three chapters, “The Man in Search of the Country’s Shape”, “The Flag for Peace” and “The Name of Ho Chi Minh – Forever Shines” were presented with elaborate staging, combining many types of art forms such as singing, dancing, music, drama, animation, cinema and modern 3D mapping projection technology.
The first chapter, “The Man in Search of the Shape of the Country,” recreated the childhood of the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung, who grew up listening to the gentle folk songs of his hometown in Nghe An. Next, the 30-year journey of Uncle Ho searching for a way to save the country. The dance performance combined with the hologram projection created touching images of Uncle Ho’s journey during his years in a foreign land.
In the second chapter, the reportage “Ho Chi Minh - The flag for peace and global influence” was considered the highlight. The audience listened to the sharing of international scholars about President Ho Chi Minh. All were in awe of his ideological stature and compassionate heart.
The third chapter "Forever Shines His Name - Ho Chi Minh" gathers performances expressing the spirit of national solidarity, firmly following the path chosen by Uncle Ho.

In the program, melodies such as: "Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name", "Singing in the Pac Bo forest", "Ho Chi Minh song", "The right to live in peace"... are performed through the voices of leading singers.
"May Gifts for Him" is a collaboration between veteran artists such as: People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Quang Vinh, People's Artist Truong Giang, People's Artist Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Le Giang...; and young faces such as: Anh Tu, Minh Chau, Thao Nguyen, Hoang Hai, Trang Phap, Hoang Hong Ngoc... Thanks to that, the immortal songs about Him have become closer, inspiring today's young generation.
The performance is not only a tribute, but also a deep wish of every Vietnamese person, to live and contribute according to Uncle Ho's ideology, to build a peaceful, humane, independent and powerful country as he always wished.
Through outstanding art performances, the special art program “May Gifts for Him” affirmed the historical role, ideological stature, and great legacy that President Ho Chi Minh left for the Vietnamese revolution and for the development process of the nation. Thereby, propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style to the masses, especially the young generation.
