On the morning of May 15, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Province organized the opening ceremony of the first road motor vehicle driving license examination and issuance since taking over the task from the (old) Department of Transport.

The exam was held at the Driving Test Center (Quang Binh College of Industry and Agriculture ), with the participation of 295 candidates.

Candidates participate in 4 exam parts according to regulations including: theory, simulated traffic situations, driving practice in pictures and driving on the road.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cao Quang - Head of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Province Police said that, in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Public Security , before the exam day, the unit held a meeting and inspected and reviewed all equipment (vehicles, software, cameras, etc.) at the exam location, and at the same time created scenarios that could occur during the exam to ensure the safest exam.

A new point in the driving license test conducted by the police this time is that all candidates must have their alcohol concentration measured before entering the exam room. This is to tighten discipline and increase the sense of responsibility of traffic participants right from when they are still students.

Previously, immediately after officially taking over the task from the Department of Transport (now the Department of Construction), the leaders of Quang Binh Provincial Police directed the Traffic Police Department to closely coordinate with relevant units to fully, accurately and honestly hand over records and data; at the same time, ensuring that the testing work is not interrupted, and takes place continuously and stably.

This is the first driving license exam organized by Quang Binh Provincial Police.

21 officers and soldiers of Quang Binh Provincial Police were sent to attend a professional training course organized by the Traffic Police Department and were granted examiner cards.

This is the core force, directly responsible for organizing driving tests and granting driving licenses in Quang Binh province, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and meeting the needs of local people.
