| Training course on pig breeding techniques and beef fattening in Khau Vai commune. |
At the training course, trainees were taught by experts from the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center the main contents such as: Pig breeding techniques (how to choose breeds, build barns, sow raising techniques, pig care and feeding techniques, biological bedding techniques in pig farming, veterinary work and prevention of some diseases). Beef cattle fattening techniques (selection, management of fattening cattle, fattening season and time, how to prepare concentrated feed for fattening cattle, veterinary hygiene and barn hygiene. Techniques for producing and processing some types of feed in livestock farming: selection, combination of feed rations for pigs; green silage and fermenting techniques for cattle, food storage in winter...).
Through the training program, trainees will have a better understanding of basic techniques in animal husbandry; disease prevention and control to apply in practice in their localities and families; contributing to promoting animal husbandry development to bring sustainable economic value.
