Representatives of 4 Vietnamese restaurants awarded Michelin stars
Of the 103 selected restaurants (48 in Hanoi and 55 in Ho Chi Minh City), four were awarded a Michelin Star for their high-quality food, worthy of a stopover. The list includes Anan Saigon Restaurant, Gia Restaurant, Hibana by Koki Restaurant at Capella Hanoi Hotel, and Tam Vi.
Anan Saigon Restaurant Receives a Michelin Star
Restaurants that receive Michelin stars are listed in The Michelin Guide - the world's leading culinary guide published in 1900.
In addition, 70 Michelin Selected restaurants/eateries (restaurants recommended by Michelin Guide), 3 individuals winning Michelin Guide Special Awards (special awards from Michelin), 29 Bib Gourmand restaurants (restaurants with delicious food at affordable prices) were also officially announced.

Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guide, expressed his pride in completing the list of the first restaurants to meet the M Michelin Guide standards in Vietnam, including 103 restaurants, of which 4 restaurants were awarded one Michelin star.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Vu Quynh Anh, General Director of Sun Hospitality Group, shared that from the list announced by Michelin today, the world's new culinary destination named Vietnam will be spread to global tourists.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, General Director of the General Department of Tourism, assessed that being associated with the Michelin brand will be a huge turning point for all Vietnamese restaurants, creating a brand to welcome tourists, especially international visitors.
"Michelin coming to Vietnam will have a great influence on international tourists when looking for information about Vietnam tourism and is an important factor for traveling to Vietnam in the future.

"The announcement of Vietnamese restaurants receiving Michelin stars will be a big, important step in approaching the world's quality of service. Therefore, with the Michelin brand creating a trend, when Michelin comes to Vietnam, it will create a new trend for tourists coming to Vietnam," said Mr. Khanh.
The General Director of the General Department of Tourism emphasized that in the orientation of Vietnam's tourism development to 2030, cultural tourism is one of the four main product lines. In recent times, Vietnam has received recognition from many prestigious world organizations and has been honored as Asia's leading culinary and cultural destination for three consecutive years.
"We are aiming for a higher title to affirm the value of Vietnamese culinary brands. Based on the announced list, the General Department of Tourism will include it in the promotion plan, especially at roadshows, international fairs, specialized programs promoting Vietnamese culinary culture, and target markets to let people and communities know that Vietnam has Michelin-standard restaurants," Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh stated.
