In 4 months, Khanh Hoa's total seafood output reached 44,631 tons.

In the first 4 months of 2025, thanks to relatively favorable weather at sea and reduced fuel prices, fishermen were encouraged to go offshore to exploit seafood. Regarding aquaculture, thanks to stable domestic consumption demand, farmers applied super-intensive farming technology, so aquaculture output increased. Thereby, the total aquaculture output in the province in the first 4 months of the year reached 44,631 tons, an increase of 1.8% over the same period last year. Of which, the output of exploited aquatic products reached more than 39,173 tons, an increase of more than 1%; the output of aquaculture products reached nearly 5,458 tons, an increase of more than 7.6% over the same period last year.

In order to contribute to stabilizing output and increasing income for people, in terms of seafood exploitation, recently, functional agencies and local authorities have resolutely implemented solutions to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated seafood exploitation. In aquaculture, functional agencies regularly monitor farming areas to ensure disease safety and environmental protection; promptly guide localities and fishermen to raise seafood in accordance with market demand; at the same time, relocate cages to designated areas, promote the application of high-tech marine farming, etc.
