5 major tasks to propagate the Draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress

Draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress have received great attention from cadres, party members and the masses.

Implementing the Central Committee's directive documents on organizing the collection of opinions and synthesizing comments from cadres, party members and people on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, localities, agencies and units have closely followed the Central Committee's directives, deployed rich and flexible forms of propaganda, suitable to practical conditions, ensuring that all classes of people (at home and abroad) have the opportunity to access and participate in contributing opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

During the period from October 15, 2025 to November 6, 2025, the organization of collecting opinions from cadres, party members and people on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party was seriously, urgently and synchronously implemented by provincial, municipal and central party committees and achieved positive results.

Total number of conferences, seminars, and discussions to collect opinions from cadres, party members, and people: 3,908; number of comments: 127,584. Of which, the number of comments through the VneID application: 2,131,376 comments

Number of written comments through the letter and newspaper system: 1,722 comments; Number of comments through the online comment system of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department: 240,583 comments.

The total number of comments from cadres, party members and people on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress is: 2,501,265 comments, of which:

Draft Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee at the 14th National Congress of the Party: 1,169,638 comments

Draft Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam: 792,533 comments.

Draft Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025) and proposals and directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter: 538,572 comments.

Other comments (on layout, form...): 522 comments.

Many comments contribute to large, in-depth, and highly practical content groups.

According to the Steering Committee's assessment, information and propaganda work has been deployed strongly and creatively, with rich content and diverse forms. The press and media at the central and local levels have actively and widely propagated, contributing to spreading the spirit of democracy, strengthening trust, arousing responsibility and consensus of cadres, party members and people towards the Party's leadership in the new period.

Through comments on the draft documents, the trust and expectations of cadres, party members and people for the Party's leadership, the spirit of innovation, science and openness in the process of preparing documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress have been shown.

The comments from cadres, party members and people are highly consistent with the content, structure and innovative spirit of the draft documents, and at the same time contribute many profound and constructive opinions, especially on the orientation of national development and building a clean and strong Party and political system. Many opinions focus on amending and supplementing the Party Charter in the direction of strengthening the autonomy and self-responsibility of grassroots party organizations and establishing an effective internal feedback mechanism, in order to ensure substantive democracy, promote the intelligence and innovative strength of the entire political system.

The Steering Committee also outlined 5 groups of tasks to be implemented in the coming time. Specifically:

Continue to promote propaganda and dissemination of the contents of draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress, ensuring that people have full access and have a basis to participate and contribute comments.

Expand and diversify forms of opinion collection, creating favorable conditions for cadres, party members, and people at home and abroad, especially in remote, isolated, and ethnic minority areas.

Focus on objectively and comprehensively synthesizing comments and suggestions, focusing on proposals with theoretical, practical and creative values, contributing to perfecting the vision and orientation for national development.

Strengthen inspection, supervision and urging of implementation; at the same time, promote propaganda work, orient public opinion, fight against erroneous viewpoints, and spread typical comments.

Localities affected by natural disasters need to flexibly adjust their plans, combine in-person and online forms, ensure safety, democracy, and promote the people's intelligence and enthusiasm in contributing ideas to build the 14th National Congress documents.
