Pepper prices in the world today remain stable. This week, the pepper market has little change with only a sharp decrease in Indonesia.
According to Comexstat data, in October 2025, Brazil exported 6,209 tons of pepper, worth 38.9 million USD, up 2.9% in volume and 4.5% in value compared to September, and up sharply by 71.5% and 66.9% compared to the same period in 2024. The UAE continued to be the largest import market with 811 tons, down 26.9%, while Vietnam rose to second place with 767 tons, double the previous month, followed by Pakistan with 677 tons, up 19%.
In the first 10 months of 2025, Brazil exported 70,198 tons of pepper, earning 435.7 million USD, up 32.5% in volume and nearly 90% in value compared to the same period in 2024. The average export price of pepper reached 6,207 USD/ton, up 43.2% over the previous year and double that of the same period in 2023. Vietnam is currently the largest market, accounting for 28.7% of Brazil's total exports with 20,117 tons, up 188.3%. The following markets include the UAE (10.4%), India (8.8%), Morocco (7.8%) and Senegal (7.4%).

According to VPSA, output in 2025 will reach about 90,000 tons, up 20% compared to 2024 thanks to favorable weather and improved productivity, with Espirito Santos state accounting for more than half of the country's output. VPSA said pepper exports will increase thanks to abundant supplies, a weak Real, competitive logistics costs and recovering demand from Europe and the Middle East. Brazil is currently the world's second-largest pepper exporter, after Vietnam.
