(HNMO) - Total state budget revenue in the first 5 months of 2023 managed by tax authorities is estimated at VND 663,843 billion, equal to 48.3% of the ordinance estimate, equal to 96.9% over the same period last year.

On the afternoon of June 2, the General Department of Taxation announced that the total state budget revenue in May 2023 managed by tax authorities is estimated at VND 85,200 billion, reaching 6.2% of the ordinance estimate, equal to 76.4% over the same period last year.

Of which, revenue from crude oil is estimated at VND 4,500 billion, equal to 10.7% of the estimate, equal to 92.3% compared to the same period last year, based on the average crude oil price estimated at USD 92/barrel, equal to 131.4% of the estimate, equal to 85.5% compared to the same period; output is estimated at 650 thousand tons, equal to 8.8% of the estimate, equal to 98.3% compared to the output of the same period; domestic revenue is estimated at VND 80,700 billion, equal to 6.1% of the estimate, equal to 75.7% compared to the same period.

Total state budget revenue in the first 5 months of 2023 managed by tax authorities is estimated at VND 663,843 billion, equal to 48.3% of the ordinance estimate, equal to 96.9% over the same period last year.

12/20 revenue items and taxes achieved quite well compared to the estimate (over 48%); 8/20 revenue items achieved below 48%; 12/20 revenue items and taxes had revenue growth compared to the same period last year. Notably, 8/20 revenue items and taxes had lower revenue than the same period in 2022. Of which, environmental protection tax is estimated at 53%; registration fee is estimated at 72.5%; land use fee is estimated at 44.6%; land and water surface rental fee is estimated at 48.9%.

There are 17/63 localities with budget implementation progress reaching higher than 48%; 21/63 localities with average collection progress (42-48%); 25/63 localities with low collection progress (below 42%), including some localities with very slow collection progress (below 35% of the estimate), such as: Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Lai Chau, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Tuyen Quang, Binh Phuoc , Phu Yen, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Son La.
