Accordingly, 5 localities have reported on plans to build resettlement areas in the area to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, including Bien Hoa city and the districts of Dinh Quan, Nhon Trach, Thong Nhat and Xuan Loc. The remaining 6 localities have not yet submitted reports.
Based on data provided by 5 localities, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center has drafted an investment plan to build resettlement areas in the province for the period 2026-2030.
On May 23, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center also sent a document to departments, branches and localities to collect comments and suggestions to complete the draft plan to invest in building resettlement areas in the province for the period 2026-2030.
Accordingly, in order to have a basis to complete the plan before reporting to the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to build resettlement areas for the period 2026-2030 and implement the plan closely following the reality of each locality, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center requests relevant units and localities to review and provide comments to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for synthesis and completion of the content on May 25.
However, according to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, as of May 28, no unit has commented on the content of the above draft. In order to ensure the timely issuance of the investment plan for the construction of resettlement areas in the province for the period 2026-2030 in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, in Report No. 1032, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center recommends that the Provincial People's Committee direct the implementation or consider issuing the investment plan for the construction of resettlement areas for the period 2026-2030 for deployment to localities.
Previously, to meet the needs of resettlement arrangements for households when implementing projects in the province, the Provincial People's Committee assigned localities to review resettlement needs and plans for building resettlement areas to send to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
At the same time, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center was assigned to synthesize and advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to consider and issue an investment plan to build resettlement areas in the province for the period 2026-2030 before May 25.
