7 localities of Hai Duong exceeded the annual voluntary blood donation target

In 6 months, 7 localities in Hai Duong have exceeded the voluntary blood donation target for 2025.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Hai Duong collected nearly 11,000 units of blood from more than 50 voluntary blood donations.

According to the Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross, in the first 6 months of 2025, the province organized more than 50 voluntary blood donations, collecting nearly 11,000 units of blood, an increase of nearly 2,000 units of blood compared to the same period last year. Of which, the rate of repeat blood donors reached more than 80%.

Seven localities exceeded the annual voluntary blood donation target: Hai Duong city, Kinh Mon town, Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, Thanh Ha districts. Although in the context of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, agencies, units, and organizations in the province focused on professional work, voluntary blood donation activities were little affected, ensuring the number of blood units for emergency care.

Also in the first 6 months of 2025, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation at all levels honored and rewarded 391 individuals, 48 ​​groups and 24 outstanding families in the work of mobilizing and donating voluntary blood in the province.
