On the evening of June 5, speaking with Thanh Nien , the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police said that this unit had extinguished the fire that broke out at the Carplus Car Care Center of Carplus Vietnam Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, located at 318 Nguyen Van Giap Street (Cau Dien Ward, Nam Tu Liem District), and at the same time handed over the scene to the Criminal Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police to investigate the cause.

According to the commander, at around 6 p.m. the same day, the unit received a fire report at the Carplus Car Care Center and dispatched 1 command vehicle, 2 fire trucks, and 1 rescue vehicle to the scene to organize fire extinguishing and rescue.
Carplus car care center has an area of about 300 m2 , 1 floor high, built with a half-brick wall, surrounded by corrugated iron above, and inside there are many cars and flammable objects, so the fire spread quickly and fiercely.
Realizing that the fire was complicated, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police requested support from 2 fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 2 (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police), 2 fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Bac Tu Liem District Police (Hanoi) and 1 tanker truck of the environmental company to deploy fire fighting.
The fire affected 9 cars, 8 of which were completely burned.
The fire developed complicatedly, spreading to the neighboring motel with an area of about 200 m2 . Dozens of officers from various units actively fought the fire. By about 19:20 on June 5, the fire was completely extinguished.
According to the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police, the fire did not cause any human casualties, however, many properties inside were burned down; 8 cars were completely burned, including many luxury cars, and another Mercedes was partially burned.
The Criminal Police Team of Nam Tu Liem District Police is blocking off the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
