On the morning of August 15 in Hanoi, Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Postal Industry (August 15, 1945 - August 15, 2025).
According to the leader of Vietnam Post, currently, with a system of 13,000 service points spread to communes and wards with more than 40,000 employees, the unit has both performed its political tasks well and innovated to adapt to the strong transformation of the country, affirming its position as a National Postal enterprise, actively contributing to administrative reform, national digital transformation and enhancing the position of Vietnam Post in the international arena.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the growth rate of Vietnam Post reached 22%. Vietnam Post also resolutely implemented a new organizational model, new economic mechanism, and new service ecosystem on the basis of profound and comprehensive digital transformation. These will be four important driving forces to bring Vietnam Post into a new phase of strong development.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang - Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Post said that the Commune Post Office system - with its "autonomous" mechanism will promote its role as an important physical touchpoint of the digital economy and digital society, contributing to the creation of 3,321 new economic centers at the grassroots level, accompanying the Government and the business community to bring the country to a prosperous future.

With new visions and requirements in the era of science, technology and innovation, Vietnam Post has been, is and will be strongly transforming to affirm its position and role as a national postal enterprise, and at the same time a technology postal enterprise.
The goal by 2030 is to achieve 70-80% operational automation, a stable growth rate of 20-30% in service sectors, ensuring quality is always in the Top 3 domestic express delivery businesses, becoming a strategic partner providing the best offline interactive services for the digital economy and digital businesses.
Vietnam Post's e-commerce platform will become the largest B2C high-quality agricultural products platform in Vietnam, the No. 1 provider of logistics infrastructure for agricultural products in Vietnam and ensure the best service for people's postal needs, with the closest nationwide coverage.
Along with the innovation of the organizational model, on the basis of a wide network and a system of communal post offices as "touch points", Vietnam Post has shaped a cohesive product ecosystem: post - logistics - digital finance - e-commerce - public services - technology.
