Tips to conquer Quan Lan with 2.4 million VND

With a group of friends welcoming summer with a trip to Quan Lan, Linh Xinh ( Son La ) shared a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for less than 2.5 million VND/person with a series of extremely cool check-in photos.

According to Linh, the best time to go to Quan Lan is from April to June and September to October. July and August are the months when storms often occur. However, visitors can monitor the weather to choose a suitable schedule.

Regarding transportation, visitors have many options to travel from Hanoi to Ao Tien port by limousine, private car or bus. The distance is about 200km but easy to travel, mainly on the highway so the travel time is just over 2 hours.

On the island, if you go in a large group, you can choose to take the electric car. The advantage is that you don't have to worry about getting lost, and a maximum of 13 people can travel on an electric car. If you like to explore and wander, you should rent a motorbike for 150,000 - 200,000 VND/day.

In terms of accommodation, the island is divided into two main, densely populated areas: Minh Chau and Quan Lan. Both areas are developed in terms of accommodation services, restaurants, etc.

Suggested itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi - Quan Lan Island

6am depart from Hanoi to Ao Tien port (Quang Ninh), take a speedboat to the island. Travel time from the port to the island is about 1.5 hours.

After checking in, having lunch, and resting, the first afternoon you can choose to go for a drive around the island to find out the locations of the beaches and attractions. Quan Lan Island is not too big, just one afternoon you can explore all the roads on the island.

Day 2: Watch the sunrise at Eo Gio, swim in the sea

Suggested itinerary for the second day includes: watching the sunrise at Eo Gio, you should wake up early from 4am to see the moment the sun rises from the sea, visit the infinity hill to see the whole sea view from above, watch the sunset on the dike.
