New definition of specialty

With a scale of over 130,000m², the Autumn Fair at VEC gathers the quintessence of regional specialties. At the Autumn Land of Vietnam space (Hall 6 & 7), localities brought visitors a series of famous specialties.

Each booth offers a regional specialty (Photo: Organizer).

Each stall is a separate story, where specialties are not only products, but also a testament to kindness, creativity, cultural depth and industrial potential.

At the Bac Ninh booth, the smell of new rice spread from the Vietmush Cooperative's cooking trial counter. The ivory-white noodles, shining with a natural, unbleached color, and the fresh rice noodles made visitors curious to try them and impressed by their unique flavor.

Right next door, Cao Bang stall impressed with its vegetable vermicelli noodles shaped like five-color flowers, both delicate and artistic.

Entering the Central region, the specialties are also expanded to both cultural depth and industrial scale. Nghe An booth displays OCOP products such as Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Polygonum multiflorum… These are traditional remedies created from products of the dry, rocky mountainous land.

Quang Ngai booth surprised many visitors when its main specialties were not candy or Tra Bong cinnamon, but finished gasoline and sulfur particles. This is the pride of the industry, an affirmation that the refining industry is the unique specialty of the locality.

In the South, Ca Mau crabs have become the representative image of the province right at the entrance. In addition, Ca Mau also introduces bunches of water coconuts, wax coconuts... which are familiar agricultural export products to major markets such as Japan, China, Korea...

Going deeper into Thu Dat Viet, visitors will truly feel the aspiration to reach the international level of OCOP products. At Tuyen Quang booth, Shan Tuyet tea (5-star OCOP) and Ham Yen orange (product with geographical indication) are displayed and introduced to visitors.

Meanwhile, Dak Lak booth brought Kien Cuong civet coffee and MISS EDE chocolate - products that meet 5-star OCOP standards, demonstrating efforts to improve quality and affirm their position in the market.

Launch pad for OCOP products to reach the world

The success of OCOP products comes from the continuous efforts of localities and businesses. However, to expand the market and enhance the brand, they need a worthy exhibition and connection space, and the Autumn Exhibition 2025 at VEC is that opportunity.

Right from the opening day, the atmosphere at Thu Dat Viet subdivision was always bustling. Mixed with the flow of people visiting and enjoying the products were meetings and exchanges between B2B (business to business) partners.

The story of Thanh Hoa is a typical example. With three separate exhibition spaces (OCOP products, Tourism promotion and Thanh cuisine), this locality participated in the Autumn Fair with a comprehensive approach, taking advantage of the scale of the event and the space of the Vietnam Exhibition Center to promote its image and typical products.

Representatives of Lam Son Sugarcane Joint Stock Company (Lasuco) and Phong Cach Moi Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company (4-star OCOP Tea) affirmed that businesses came here to connect with partners and find reputable importers.

Mr. Le Tien Dung, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade, said this is a comprehensive trade promotion activity of special significance, an opportunity to connect supply and demand, expand investment and export cooperation.

Not only successful in creating a bridge between businesses, the Autumn Fair at VEC also strengthens the belief that "Vietnamese people use Vietnamese products". Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung, a veteran, shared: "I am interested in products with Vietnamese brands, meeting OCOP standards. This year's products are very diverse and professional".

Setting a Vietnamese record right at the Autumn Fair

The creative atmosphere at the 2025 Fall Fair is not only reflected in the booths, but also continues at the Autumn Delicacies Food Festival - Cheer Fest.

At 6:00 p.m. on October 31, the event took place to set the record for "The largest model of Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) made of sticky rice and flowers shaped from beans", certified by the Vietnam Record Organization and the Vietnam Record Institute.

A series of experiences and high-quality products imbued with national identity have been turning the first Autumn Fair in particular and VEC in general into a destination to honor traditional culture.
