Pearson and EMG Education sign cooperation agreement to promote AI in Vietnam education

(Dan Tri) - On October 30, Pearson Education and EMG Education announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on comprehensive educational cooperation, aiming to promote the application of AI technology in Vietnamese education.

The signing ceremony between Pearson Education and EMG Education took place solemnly in London (UK), witnessed by General Secretary To Lam , official members of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation and British Government officials.

This event marks an important milestone in educational cooperation between the two countries.

This agreement focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and advanced testing solutions to support the digital transformation process in Vietnam's education, especially the goal of organizing high school graduation exams on computers of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Under the agreement, Pearson will transfer advanced testing solutions, apply AI in building test banks, automate test scoring and analyze in-depth data.

At the same time, the two sides will continue to expand the integrated education model, combining the Ministry of Education and Training's program with the Pearson Edexcel international program framework, to improve foreign language proficiency and global integration skills for Vietnamese students.

This cooperation directly supports policies and strategies in Vietnam's education and training such as Resolutions 57-NQ/TW and 71-NQ/TW on digital transformation in education, as well as Conclusion 91-KL/TW of the Politburo and Project 2371/QD-TTg recently approved by the Prime Minister on "Making English the second language in schools for the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2045".
