Immediately after the ceremony, the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Chau Town held an intimate meeting, congratulated and presented gifts to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the town and the monks and nuns.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province Dang Thi Hoa Ray highly appreciated the role and contributions of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at all levels in the province in recent times. She hoped that the venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhists would continue to promote the tradition of protecting the country and the people, accompanying the nation; actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, live a "good life, good religion"; and mobilize Buddhists to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State. At the same time, she called on the Sangha at all levels to unite under the common roof of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to building Uncle Ton's homeland to become increasingly rich, civilized, and prosperous.
Buddha's Birthday is an important occasion for monks, nuns and Buddhists, not only to honor the moral values, compassion and wisdom of Buddhism but also to contribute to spreading the spirit of peace , love and solidarity to the community.
