Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Hien, Director of the Department of Health, emphasized that currently, the situation of fake milk, fake medicine, fake functional foods, food poisoning risks, etc. is extremely complicated, especially during the peak holidays. In particular, recently, a series of large-scale fake milk production and trading chains have been discovered and dismantled, reflecting the alarming reality of the prevalence and danger of fake milk. This is a huge challenge in the situation where there is no longer a district level, the province is merged, the state management space has increased, and many streamlined, effective and efficient management methods have been proposed. Therefore, it is necessary to promote effective management solutions, ensuring food safety and people's health, so that people can live in a safe environment.
The 2025 Food Safety Action Month with the theme "Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services and street food", will be implemented from April 15 to May 15 across the province, with the following objectives: Strengthening propaganda,education , raising awareness, identifying responsibilities and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and People in ensuring food security and safety. Strengthening inspection and supervision of food security and safety work; resolutely combating, preventing and strictly handling organizations, individuals and production and business establishments that violate food safety regulations. Improving capacity to prevent and proactively handle food poisoning and food-borne diseases.
