Units and enterprises in the province simultaneously organized flag-raising ceremonies to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025).

The Management Board of Kim Lien Special National Relic Site and the Ho Chi Minh Museum organized a thematic exhibition: "50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification 1975-2025".

With 238 images, documents, quotes, the thematic exhibition introduces historical milestones in the resistance war against American imperialism to save the country, liberate the South, unify the country and glorious achievements in the process of building and defending the socialist Vietnam Fatherland.

In the bustling atmosphere of the historic April days, today's youth always remember the dedication and sacrifice of the heroic martyrs who "died for the Fatherland". During the resistance war against the American imperialists to save the country, Truong Bon was called the "bomb bag", the "coordinate of fire" because tens of thousands of American bombs were dropped, aiming to cut off the vital route connecting the northern rear with the southern front. The section of National Highway 15 and the Ho Chi Minh Motorway passing through Truong Bon is about 5km long, but from June to October 1968 alone, it suffered 2,692 bombs of various types from the American enemy. Here, more than 1,240 cadres, soldiers, militia, youth volunteers, and workers in the transportation sector heroically sacrificed their lives.
