There are many localities that grow litchi, but few places have delicious litchi, with thin skin, thick flesh, and small seeds like in Bac Giang. When in season, Luc Ngan litchi is always consumed in large quantities to all provinces and cities and especially exported to other countries.

During the lychee harvest season from early June to late July, Luc Ngan is bustling with people trading, carrying baskets full of lychees through the long lychee hills dotted with red and yellow.

Luc Ngan lychee gardens will be picked up by traders or picked by farmers themselves and transported by motorbike to the lychee weighing point at wholesale markets.

In April 2023, the Asian Record Organization (5th time/2023) confirmed VietKings' nomination, Luc Ngan litchi was included in the list of Vietnamese specialties achieving Asian records according to the criteria of Asian culinary values.

Luc Ngan people harvest hundreds of thousands of tons of lychees every year. The harvest lasts for a month, usually picked early in the morning and transported until noon to be processed and packaged. After harvest, lychees are mainly concentrated in Kim Street and Chu Town, Luc Ngan District to be shipped to all regions.

Luc Ngan lychee season is at its peak. These days, along National Highway 31 running through the center of Chu town and many communes of Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang , the red color of lychees is everywhere. Along National Highway 31, people are bustling to transport lychees for sale from early morning until late afternoon.

Coming to Luc Ngan (Bac Giang), more than 60km northeast of Hanoi , visitors will see the bright red color of lychee all over the roads.

The 2023 lychee season in Bac Giang province with a total consumption output of more than 170 thousand tons of lychee reached about 96%, the total revenue from ancillary services is expected to be equivalent to 2022.

Bac Giang province also encourages production entities to invest in innovation and apply advanced science and technology in production, preliminary processing, preservation and processing of products to improve productivity, quality and meet market demand. At the same time, deploy the construction of a synchronous and unified OCOP product management and monitoring database system to improve efficiency in management, monitoring and promoting the connection between supply and demand.

In the coming time, Bac Giang province will coordinate with Tiktok to train a number of people working in tourism, sales people... to become Tiktokers selling on this social network.

Along with that, Bac Giang province has proposed the Central Government to evaluate and recognize Luc Ngan litchi products of Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative (Luc Ngan) to achieve 5 national stars.
