Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan leaves the Board of Directors of Eximbank

On the afternoon of January 31, Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) announced that Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan resigned from the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Bank for the 7th term (2020 - 2025) for personal reasons.

Thus, in just 1 week, Eximbank has announced 2 changes in senior personnel of this bank. Previously, on January 25, Eximbank's Board of Directors appointed Mr. Tran Tan Loc - Member of the Board of Directors for the 7th term, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. And now, Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan has resigned from the position of member of the Board of Directors for the 7th term of Eximbank.

Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan is one of the three members of the Board of Directors (BOD) for the 7th term (2020-2025) approved by shareholders at the 2nd Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Eximbank in February 2023. The two remaining members of the BOD are Mr. Pham Quang Dung, General Director of Phu My Real Estate Investment Company Limited and Mr. Tran Anh Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hanoi Non Nuoc Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company.

After that, Ms. Loan was appointed as Deputy General Director from February 27, 2023. However, after only 2 months, Ms. Loan submitted her resignation from the position of Deputy General Director of Eximbank from April 17, 2023. After 1 month of resigning from this position, on May 25, 2023, Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan was re-appointed by the Board of Directors of Eximbank as Deputy General Director of Eximbank.

The resignation of Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan will be approved by the Eximbank General Meeting of Shareholders in accordance with the provisions of law.
