Mrs. Le Thi Tri, eldest daughter of VNAH mother Nguyen Thi Thu, passed away at the age of 106.

Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Tri (born in 1919), residing in Thanh Quyt village, Dien Thang Trung commune, Dien Ban town, is the eldest daughter of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu.

Le Thi Tri's family had three martyrs, including her husband, martyr Ngo Tuong, who died in 1956; two daughters, martyr Ngo Thi Dieu (died in 1970) and martyr Ngo Thi Cuc (died in 1973).

Not only was she the wife and mother of martyrs, during the resistance war against the US to save the country, mother Le Thi Tri also directly participated in revolutionary activities, was captured, imprisoned, brutally tortured by the enemy, left with disabilities and became a war invalid.

After the country's reunification, Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Tri was also the one who directly cared for and supported Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu (the legendary mother with 9 sons, 1 son-in-law and 2 grandchildren who heroically sacrificed in the resistance wars for national liberation) until Mother Thu passed away.
