Three important resolutions on personnel work in Ba Ria

(NLDO) - The People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held a thematic meeting and passed three important resolutions on personnel work.

On the morning of December 30, the People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Term VII, 2021-2026, held the 25th session (special session).

Delegates passed resolutions at the session.

The meeting passed 3 resolutions on personnel work. Specifically, the resolution confirming the dismissal of Mr. Tran Thuong Chi, Director of the Department of Transport, Member of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, Term VII, 2021-2026.

The reason for his dismissal was that Mr. Tran Thuong Chi was assigned to another job by the competent authority. Specifically, Mr. Tran Thuong Chi was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Long Dat District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province presented flowers to congratulate the elected and dismissed comrades at the meeting.

The meeting also passed a Resolution confirming the results of the election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, term VII, 2021-2026, for Mr. Nguyen Van Dang, Director of the Department of Finance.

Previously, Mr. Nguyen Van Dang was the Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term VII, 2021-2026. At the end of November 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Dang to the position of Director of the Department of Finance. At the 24th session of the Provincial People's Council (early December 2024), Mr. Dang was also dismissed from the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026.

Secretary of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee Pham Viet Thanh gave a speech at the meeting.

The People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also passed a resolution confirming the election results of Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Dat Do district, Provincial People's Council delegate to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Term VII, 2021-2026.

Previously, on December 13, the Provincial Party Standing Committee announced its agreement to introduce Mr. Danh to run for the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Term VII, 2021-2026.
