The festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Nghe An province from May 16 to 19 at the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 -2025).
Thousands of artists and non-professional actors from 31 mass art troupes from many provinces and cities across the country participated in more than 300 elaborate performances, expressing patriotism, national pride and sacred feelings for beloved Uncle Ho. The organizing committee awarded 36 Gold Medals and 60 Silver Medals to outstanding performances.
The Bac Giang art troupe, hosted by the provincial Center for Culture and Tourism Promotion, brought to the festival an art program with the theme “Bac Giang forever remembers His grace” about the life associated with the national liberation cause of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh. The program consisted of 3 parts: “Glorious Party”, “Forever Shining His Grace”, “Bac Giang aspires to reach far”.

With singing, dancing, emotional narration combined with the projection of precious images and documentary films about Uncle Ho on the LED screen, the image of President Ho Chi Minh on his journey to find a way to save the country was portrayed. After 30 years of wandering abroad, on January 28, 1941, President Ho Chi Minh returned with the Communist Party of Vietnam to lead the revolution to success. Continuing his ideological light, promoting the revolutionary tradition, the Party Committee and the people of Bac Giang constantly strived to overcome difficulties and rise up strongly.
In particular, the choir group performing the mashup "The Party Flag - Each step makes us love our Fatherland more - Youth dedicated to the Party" was awarded the Gold Medal; the male choir group "Willing to follow Uncle Ho's footsteps" and the solo "Con nho ngon Nguoi" won the Silver Medal. The Bac Giang delegation was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Giap Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Culture and Tourism Promotion, was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library for his excellent achievements in participating in the performance.
The festival is held every five years, providing an opportunity for cultural and artistic workers in provinces and cities across the country to exchange and learn to improve their staging and performance skills.
