Bac Giang won 4 medals at the 2025 National Club Sepak Takraw Championship - News details

At the Hue City Sports Center Gymnasium, the Hue City Department of Culture and Sports recently coordinated with the Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation to organize the 2025 National Sepak Takraw Club Championship.

Athletes Phung Manh Tu and Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen ( Bac Giang , podium number 1) received gold medals at the tournament.

The tournament attracted 170 athletes from 13 units competing for 9 sets of medals in the following categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team, women's team, 4-men team and 4-women team.

The tournament is held annually to evaluate the training of athletes in localities and sectors and to maintain and develop shuttlecock kicking in the whole country; this is an opportunity for athletes from provincial teams to compete, and also an opportunity for experts to train and select athletes to participate in regional and international tournaments and the 33rd SEA Games held in Thailand at the end of this year.

Representative of Bac Giang delegation received the 3rd flag of the whole delegation at the tournament.

Bac Giang province participated in this tournament with the participation of 15 athletes. After many days of hard competition, the athletes won 02 Gold Medals, 01 Silver Medal, 01 Bronze Medal; in which, 01 Gold Medal in the mixed doubles category of athletes Phung Manh Tu and Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen, 01 Gold Medal in the 4-men team. With the achievements, Bac Giang team ranked 3rd overall./.
