Handing over the project "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in Kim Ngan commune

This morning, July 2, Economic - Defense Group 79 (Army Corps 15) held the inauguration and handover of the project "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Thiec, a worker of Team 1, residing in Km14 village, Kim Ngan commune, Quang Tri province.

Implementing the plan of the 15th Corps Command on assigning the target of building the project "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" for people with especially difficult housing circumstances in the unit and the people in the area in 2025, the Command Board of Economic-Defense Group 79 coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to support the construction of a house for Ms. Ho Thi Thiec's family.

The house was started in April 2025 and has now been basically completed with 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen and outbuildings. The total usable area is over ^110m2 , the construction cost is nearly 200 million VND, of which Army Corps 15 supported 60 million VND.

This is a meaningful work, demonstrating the concern of Army Corps 15 and Economic-Defense Group 79 for workers in difficult circumstances; at the same time, further tightening the solidarity and connection between the army and the people in the area where the unit is stationed.
