(QNO) - On May 8, the Red Cross Society of Thang Binh district organized the acceptance and handover of the "Humanitarian House" to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Vinh Huy village (Binh Tri commune, Thang Binh), a near-poor household.

Construction of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa's humanitarian house began in early April and was completed after more than 1 month of construction. The house has a total area of ​​50 square meters , with a corrugated iron roof, tiled floor, sturdy gate, etc., with a total construction cost of more than 100 million VND. Of which, the district's humanitarian fund supported 60 million VND, the district's Women's Union supported 10 million VND, and the rest was mobilized by the locality, and the family and neighbors contributed labor days to dig the foundation, carry soil, and build the foundation to help Ms. Hoa build the house.

Mr. Vo Anh Trung - Chairman of the Red Cross Society of Thang Binh district said that in order for the "Humanitarian House" to be completed and handed over in Humanitarian Month 2025, in the past time, along with proactively connecting and mobilizing support sources, the Red Cross Society of the district and Binh Tri commune regularly inspected and actively encouraged the family and the construction unit to speed up the progress, taking advantage of the sunny weather to build the house to ensure strict criteria, safety and prescribed time, contributing to the cause of "Eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses" in the district.
