At the ceremony, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Vu Hai Quang said that the Ba Den Mountain Broadcasting Station in Tay Ninh is one of the key national broadcasting stations of the Voice of Vietnam in the Southern region. Thanks to the advantage of an altitude of nearly 1,000m above sea level, the Station has provided high-quality radio coverage for Tay Ninh province, part of the Eastern and Western provinces of the South and serving overseas Vietnamese living and working in Cambodia, with a coverage area of up to 60,000 km2, with a population of approximately 20 million people.

According to the plan, in the near future, Voice of Vietnam will continue to invest in upgrading the broadcasting equipment system, in order to strengthen information and propaganda on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's legal policies, economic , cultural and social information to compatriots in the Southeast region, the southern border provinces and overseas Vietnamese, contributing to protecting national border security.
Mr. Vu Hai Quang said: "The broadcasting station at the top of Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh has been broadcasting since December 1, 2002. Currently, due to the need for socio-economic development, the station will have to move to another place. The Provincial People's Committee andSun Group Company have built us a new broadcasting station at a location almost as high as the old broadcasting station, but with more spacious, more impressive and more beautiful facilities. In the coming time, we will continue to invest in a new broadcasting system with newer technology, improve quality, expand coverage, and continue to serve the public nationwide as well as international friends."
Previously, on June 16, Voice of Vietnam inaugurated the South Central Broadcasting Station in Binh Thuan, broadcasting to the East Sea region and the South Central coastal provinces, aiming to complete the "dual goal" of both ensuring socio-economic development and maintaining national security and defense.
