The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just decided to issue the Da Nang Cultural Tourism Criteria Set - the media name is Da Nang SMILE Criteria Set (Criteria Set).
Accordingly, the Department of Tourism is the focal agency to widely deploy the set of criteria to agencies, organizations, individuals, domestic and international tourists in the city.
The purpose of the Criteria Set is to guide behavior, attitude, and civilized and cultural behavior in tourism activities in Da Nang City, helping to better organize tourism activities in the city from both sides: agencies, organizations, individuals at the destination and tourists coming to Da Nang City;
Promote and maintain regular implementation of civilized and cultured behavior, manners, polite and friendly attitudes of city residents, business community and civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies, organizations, and individuals operating in the tourism sector and tourism-related industries. Build and maintain the image of a green, clean, beautiful, civilized, hospitable, safe, and sustainably developing tourist city with its own identity, creating a distinct appeal for the destination through positive habits and behaviors in daily activities.
Propagating and orienting tourists on basic criteria of cultural behavior at destinations and recommending inappropriate behaviors, aiming to improve the relationship between tourists and the destination of Da Nang.
