On the morning of January 30, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council organized a working delegation with the Department of Industry and Trade and inspected a number of business locations on the implementation of solutions to ensure supply-demand balance and market stabilization for the Lunar New Year 2024. The delegation included representatives of the Legal Committee, the Culture - Social Committee (Provincial People's Council); and leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The team inspected the quality of essential goods sold at the business store of Thang Lien General Production and Trading Company Limited.

The delegation listened to the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade report on the implementation of solutions to ensure supply and demand balance and market stabilization. 13 enterprises participated in selling market stabilization products at the fair to celebrate the Party and Spring; 5 petroleum enterprises registered to sell stabilized products at 73 locations; 8 units and establishments selling essential goods registered to sell market stabilization products at 35 locations in districts and Thai Binh city. The delegation inspected the actual business establishment Phu Son Mart (Hung Nhan town, Hung Ha district), the business store of Thang Lien General Production and Trading Company Limited (Vu Quy commune, Kien Xuong district) - these are two Vietnamese sales points selected by the Department of Industry and Trade to build, open and register to participate in the market stabilization program.

Businesses registered to sell market stabilization products all have abundant sources of goods with a wide variety of products to meet people's Tet shopping needs.

Through inspection, the delegation assessed that these businesses have prepared abundant and diverse sources of goods in both types and prices, and have done a good job of publicly posting prices according to regulations. Essential goods and other goods of high quality and reasonable price are prioritized by businesses to import to serve the shopping needs of the people.

The delegation requested that businesses maintain opening hours according to regulations, ensure reserves to avoid local shortages and shortages, commit to circulating goods with clear origin, good quality, guaranteed shelf life and stable prices before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2024.
