Ensuring the 2025 high school graduation exam takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations

On the morning of June 23, the working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by comrade Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training, had a working session with the People's Committee of Thai Binh province on preparations for the organization of the high school graduation exam in 2025. Receiving and working with the delegation on the provincial side were comrades: Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Dong Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Pham Van Nghiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

This year's high school graduation exam in the province has more than 24,300 candidates taking the exam, an increase of nearly 1,600 candidates compared to 2024, of which more than 23,900 candidates registered for the 2018 General Education Program, 387 candidates registered for the 2006 General Education Program. The province has 37 exam sites with 1,041 exam rooms, 51 waiting rooms, and 37 spare rooms. The Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in the province has mobilized nearly 4,000 cadres, teachers, employees and other forces to serve the exam. Recently, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have directed the Departmentof Education and Training to issue documents directing and guiding educational institutions to organize high school graduation review work; instructions on registration for the 2025 high school graduation exam; establish an examination council, assign tasks to the examination council, issue a plan to organize inspection and examination of the exam; organize training conferences on exam regulations and exam procedures; provide guidance on invigilation of the 2025 high school graduation exam... Up to this point, all preparations for the 2025 high school graduation exam have been carefully and thoroughly prepared by Thai Binh province, especially in terms of facilities, equipment, exam security plans, ensuring security and order, health care, traffic, electricity...

At the meeting, leaders of provincial departments and branches and the working delegation discussed solutions to ensure security and order, fire prevention, printing and copying of exam papers, equipment related to the exam, inspection work, backup plans... to ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparations for the 2025 high school graduation exam in Thai Binh province. He also emphasized: In the context that the whole country is focusing on arranging, organizing the apparatus, implementing the two-level local government model, the work is very large, but we should not be subjective or negligent, but should focus on providing the best direction for the preparation and organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Based on the experience of previous exams, he noted that Thai Binh needs to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, ensure that leadership and direction must be coherent, decisive and in compliance with regulations. Focus on mobilizing the maximum human resources, means and facilities to serve the exam. Comply with and properly implement the procedures at all stages during the exam process and strictly handle violations, if any. Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son also requested the province to pay attention to directing the good implementation of a number of related tasks regarding facilities, transportation of exam papers, printing of exam papers, healthcare , information and propaganda; tasks to prepare well for the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 and the arrangement of staff in the education sector to ensure sufficient human resources to operate normally after the 2-level local government model comes into operation.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: In the past time, Thai Binh province has resolutely directed the preparation for the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam and has had a plan to direct from the beginning, well prepare the conditions, promote propaganda, and create consensus among the people. In the new context, the province will seriously absorb and fully implement the direction of the Central Government and the Ministry of Education and Training in accordance with regulations; at the same time, always pay the highest attention and priority to all aspects to develop the education and training sector. In the immediate future, the province will focus on reviewing all stages of the preparation work, especially the plans to handle possible situations to ensure that the 2025 high school graduation exam in the province takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
