Concluding the meeting, the leaders of the People's Committees of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces emphasized that in just a few days, An Giang and Kien Giang provinces will merge into the new An Giang province, with new development space and many new policies. Therefore, we need to unite, be of one mind, and coordinate well to quickly approach the work, closely follow the local situation, new policies and regulations to do things correctly and effectively, contributing to the successful implementation of the revolution of streamlining the apparatus.

The leaders of the People's Committees of An Giang and Kien Giang provinces requested the leaders of the departments and branches of the two provinces to quickly review the actual demand for official housing and means of transport for officials, civil servants and public employees. Continue to coordinate to agree on working headquarters to ensure the operation of the departments and branches after July 1. In addition, continue to urgently review and arrange to meet the basic needs for working headquarters, equipment and techniques to operate from July 1. If not yet guaranteed, after July 1, continue to invest in additional equipment to be unified, synchronous and interconnected from the provincial to the communal level.

At the same time, there is a plan to handle surplus assets in accordance with legal regulations. Urgently develop reports, complete and unify data on finance, budget, and public investment before July 1.
