Mr. Pham Van Duc (65 years old, 2/4th class disabled soldier, in Hamlet 4, Binh Thanh Commune, Duc Hue District), emotionally shared: “I am old, so I am unable to work. Although I receive a pension and receive care and attention from the Party, State and local authorities, my daily life still faces many difficulties. Today, receiving the attention from Hanoi Moi Newspaper and sponsors, I feel warmer in my heart.”

Ms. Pham Thi Dinh (73 years old, in Hamlet 2, Binh Thanh, Duc Hue District) shared: "Today, I am very touched, receiving the attention of the government, along with Hanoi Moi Newspaper and sponsors, who promptly gave gifts, shared, and encouraged the spirit."
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Luong Chi Cong shared that, in addition to professional work, Hanoi Moi Newspaper actively carries out many meaningful social charity activities to share with families in difficult circumstances in Hanoi and the whole country. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Hanoi Moi Newspaper, together with businesses, schools in Ho Chi Minh City, and philanthropists, organized a gift-giving program to express gratitude and share with families in difficult circumstances in Duc Hue District, Long An Province.
“Although the gift is small, it is a deep sentiment from the Capital Party journalists to the people on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country’s reunification. We hope that, with this sharing, the families will have more motivation to overcome difficulties and together build a prosperous and happy life,” said Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Luong Chi Cong.

On the local government side, Vice Chairman of Duc Hue District People's Committee, Long An Province Nguyen Van Suon affirmed that the gifts from Hanoi Moi Newspaper and sponsors presented today are clear evidence of the sense of responsibility towards the community, especially disadvantaged households.
Mr. Nguyen Van Suon hopes that in the coming time, Hanoi Moi Newspaper and sponsors will have many social and charity programs to contribute to bringing profound human values. The gifts given to the people are not only material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping people feel more warm-hearted.
Previously, leaders and former leaders of Duc Hue district, leaders of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, sponsors and people in the district respectfully offered incense and flowers to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and unification of the Fatherland.
