The Green Consumption Campaign is an annual activity initiated by SGGP Newspaper and first took place in 2010. Accordingly, the Green Consumption Campaign aims to support the community in clearly identifying products of businesses that do a good job of protecting the environment. By prioritizing the use of green products, consumers have contributed to promoting the formation of a fairer competitive market for businesses, especially those businesses that are responsible for protecting the environment and have made many efforts to invest in green production conversion and sustainable development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper Bui Thi Hong Suong expressed her pride in the past 15 years of contributing significantly to creating and positioning new consumption trends very early in the community. Up to now, the Green Consumption Campaign has become a program that has spread and attracted strong and widespread participation and response from the community at home and abroad.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, within the framework of the Green Consumption campaign in 2024, the Organizing Committee will focus on building a corporate brand communication strategy associated with the greening process of production and products, safe for the environment and responsible for the living environment of the community.
The program to launch the Green Consumption Campaign in 2024 also took place online with 3 connecting points: Hanoi , Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh province) and Can Tho city.
