On the afternoon of August 19, at the Hue City History Museum (No. 268 Dien Bien Phu, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City), the Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center coordinated with the Hue City History Museum to organize a ceremony to transfer and receive documents and artifacts.
Leaders of the two units performed the ceremony of transferring the artifacts.

Specifically, after reviewing, comparing records, and updating the list, the Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center transferred 1,448 documents and artifacts to the Hue City Museum of History.
These documents and artifacts are classified according to material groups including: 143 paper artifacts, 103 wooden artifacts, 54 stone artifacts, 30 plastic artifacts, 10 textile artifacts, 5 leather artifacts, 737 metal artifacts, and 366 ceramic artifacts.
These artifacts were previously kept at the Cultural Information - Sports Center of Thuan Hoa District (old), some of which are hundreds of years old from the Champa period and the Nguyen Dynasty. After operating the 2-level government, these artifacts were transferred to the Public Service Center of Thuan Hoa Ward.
This transfer event aims to carry out the functions and tasks of a local research museum in the work of collecting, preserving, researching and promoting the value of cultural heritage. These documents and artifacts will be placed in the right professional position, promoting their value in a concentrated and sustainable manner, in line with the development orientation of Hue City to become a cultural center and unique heritage of the whole country.
Among more than 1,400 artifacts and documents, there are artifacts that are hundreds of years old.

According to the representative of the Hue City History Museum, these documents and artifacts are vivid historical evidence, valuable cultural heritage of the land and people of Hue; preserved and passed down through many generations.
With the volume and diversity of genres of document and artifact groups, this is an extremely necessary and valuable additional source contributing to enriching the existing document and artifact mass of Hue City History Museum to serve research and display work in the future.
After receiving, Hue City Museum of History will continue to preserve and complete the documents and artifacts in accordance with the Heritage Law; ensuring good preservation, conservation and promotion of the values of documents and artifacts in the current period.
