Bao Thang launches "Humanitarian Month" in 2025

At the launching ceremony, the district Red Cross Association presented livelihood models to 5 poor households in difficult circumstances, each model worth 4 million VND; and presented a "Red Cross" house to a household in difficult housing circumstances in Phong Hai Farm town worth 40 million VND.

The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bao Thang District also presented 2,500 kg of rice, worth 45 million VND, to 250 households in difficult circumstances in Phong Hai Farm Town. Along with that, there were activities of consulting, examining and distributing free medicine to the people. The total support fund at the launching ceremony was 125 million VND.

"Humanitarian Month" in 2025 in Bao Thang district was deployed from May 1 to May 31, with many practical activities to promote propaganda, attracting a large number of organizations and individuals inside and outside the district to participate in helping people in difficult circumstances.

Free medical examination and medicine for the poor.

Activities taking place during the "Humanitarian Month" focus on remote areas and ethnic minority areas such as organizing gift giving, medical examination, free medicine for the poor, voluntary blood donation, supporting livelihood models, building "Red Cross" houses. Thereby raising awareness, arousing compassion among people of all walks of life and the responsibility of Party committees, authorities, and social forces in humanitarian work.
